Pandemic in Thailand and "Special Tourist Visa"

Currently Thailand is experiencing a mild 2nd wave of Covid-19 pandemic and has tighten the domestic travelling rules. However, when comparing to any other country the number of infections and/or deaths remain as on of the best in the world.

SPECIAL TOURIST VISA ("STV")

It is still possible to enter Thailand as a tourist but all travellers much undergo pretty heavy and complicated application / quarantine process. From Scandinavia, currently only Finland and Denmark are considered as "low risk countries" and applying for STV is possible. We recommend to contact your local Royal Thai Embassy for more details.
