KALITHEA - Diving Trip (from Rhodes Town)
Kalithea, just a short distance from Rhodes Town, is a great spot for easy and enjoyable recreational diving. The name “Kalithea” means “beautiful view” in Greek, and this stunning bay certainly lives up to its name. With several dive sites featuring clear waters, fascinating rock formations, and diverse Mediterranean marine life, it’s perfect for both beginner and experienced divers to explore.
During the boat trip to dive sites, you’ll set up your dive gear and receive a briefing from your instructor. Upon arrival, jump into the clear waters for your first dive, exploring underwater rock formations and Mediterranean marine life.
After the dive, enjoy lunch on the boat while taking in the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, you can join a second dive or relax on board, snorkel, or soak up the sun.

Insurance Coverage – Water Hoppers Diving School
All participants are insured during trips or diving courses organized by Water Hoppers Diving School. Most incidents are minor—such as slipping on a boat deck or dehydration—and are fully covered by the insurance. However, we strongly recommend that all travelers have their own personal travel insurance. Certified divers should also carry dedicated scuba diving insurance, such as DAN (Divers Alert Network), to ensure full coverage in case of serious injuries, hyperbaric chamber treatment, or costly emergency evacuations to their home country.
